Wednesday, October 1, 2014 \u2013 The Philanthropy Concierge announces the first World AIDS Awareness Weekend (WAAW) event, scheduled for November 28-30, 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia.<\/p>\n
Plans are well on the way for the three days of activities that include a Concert, Health & Wellness Expo, Gala and VIP Reception, linking HIV\/AIDS stakeholders, dignitaries, government officials, celebrities and the global community at large to draw awareness, promote testing and to help dispel the myths and fears associated with HIV\/AIDS. The three day project is filled with fun, entertaining, non-intrusive, non-discriminatory activities creating a platform for the public to get educated and tested without having to consider the stigmas that may be attached to doing so. The Philanthropy Concierge, Inc.\u2019s team expects the project to improve and widen the HIV\/AIDS educated community base and promote social responsibility.<\/p>\n
